Bakoven Beach reviews
Lovely small beach where you can tan topless, I prefer going in the week as it can get quite busy. Not as crowded as Camps Bay.
This is one of the best spots in Cape Town to catch a sunset. Spectacular views! Parking is limited so factor in time to find a spot. A few steps down to the beach. There are no public ablution facilities unfortunately.
What a cute little beach! However the people who brought their dogs didn’t pick up after their mess and let their dogs go and start fights with other dogs on the beach.

The beach has a lovely ambiance and decor. The view is breathtaking, especially during sunset. The lack of public ablution facilities is a downside though.
I had a great experience at this beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking can be a bit challenging, but the beach itself is worth it.
I visited this beach with my family and we had a wonderful time. The beach was clean and the atmosphere was peaceful. The lack of public amenities was a minor inconvenience.
I went to Bakoven Beach on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. I enjoyed sunbathing topless and the overall vibe of the beach. It's a great alternative to the more popular Camps Bay.
The beach offers stunning views and it's a great place to watch the sunset. The only downside is the limited parking availability. Be prepared to spend some time looking for a spot.
I love going to Bakoven Beach for its peaceful atmosphere. The lack of public facilities can be inconvenient, but I still enjoy the beach for its tranquility.
I had a mixed experience at this beach. The view was beautiful, but there were some dog owners who didn't clean up after their pets, causing fights between dogs. It was a bit chaotic.
Bakoven Beach is a hidden gem in Cape Town. The beach itself is small but charming. It's not as crowded as Camps Bay, which I appreciate. The lack of public facilities is a downside though.
I enjoyed my time at Bakoven Beach. The sunset views were incredible, and it was a peaceful spot to relax. Finding parking can be a challenge, so give yourself some extra time.
