Usually love the cream buns from Checkers. We were very disappointed with the cream buns from 6th Ave Checkers. You literally have to open up the buns and spread the cream around, there used to be a decent dollop of cream. These were unsatisfactory.
There are never enough cashiers on duty - resulting in long queues. Other than that, I do most of my shopping there - easy and convenient.
Great variety and good specials on a regular basis. Nice wide isles and very clean. Fully stocked shelves and a good fresh fruit and vegetable selection.
