It's a really interesting historical place, Beautiful heritage buildings, and a lot of history there. The community living and working there are very friendly and very welcoming.
Unfortunately I got there too late so I couldn't go inside. I do wonder though why the residents do not encourage the orchards of lime trees and sell it on a larger scale? There's much to tap into here and market this quaint town on a bigger scale.
50zar per person is well worth it, been living in western cape so long didn’t even know that so much history is hidden in the small part of the world ,cannot believe how many important historical people descended here in 1700’s ,what a treat , people extremely friendly and lots of history - well done
