Our first time to Goukamma Nature Reserve. We booked Blacktail chalet - 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The signs getting to our accommodation must be improved - we kept missing the little slip road to the right. We missed the gate closing time …
Beautiful hike through the fynbos with great views of the coastline. Adventurous river crossing by pulling your boat over yourself.
Lovely wild and peaceful area along side the body of water leading out to sea. Great place to relax and unwind. Ablutions at hand with seated areas under trees for shade with braai stands ready for the traditional braai and beverage. Canoes to hire for self navigating the body of water.
