Unfortunately this hospital went from probably one of the best run hospitals in South Africa to one that is very understaffed and poorly maintained. We welcomed our baby Daughter to this world in Bayview Hospital last year and although the experience of the delivery was wonderful, our subsequent stay left a lot to be desired. The nurses seem like they were always running around extremely busy from one thing to another and I felt like the care I received as a patient was compromised because of their workloads. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to implement changes within the hospital.
Disorganised Don't clean rooms frequently Medicine is a huge mess. My husband is diabetic. They will give him his insulin for breakfast at 10 am. How can you give somebody insulin after they eat. That is just one example. Terrible
