Liliesleaf reviews

This place has closed down since covid. It is very sad that the government haven't intervened to keep it up and running! We could not go in. Still shows open on google.

A historically rich site, and a major turning point in South Africa's history. Great interactive tours. Subtle architecture with considerable preservation. Quite expensive - bring with student cards for half price!

The very place where Mandela was captured..good practical museum of how everything led to the icon's capture. Guided and unguided tours..nice, well priced restaurant with excellent food. Good spot for morning or afternoon visit. Secure parking

I was disappointed to find out that the museum was closed due to COVID-19. It's a shame that the government hasn't stepped in to support its continued operation. The information on Google was outdated. Hopefully, it can reopen soon.

A fascinating place to learn about South African history. The interactive tours were engaging and the preservation of the site was impressive. However, the admission fee was quite expensive. Bringing a student card for a discount is recommended.

The museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in Nelson Mandela's legacy. It provides a practical understanding of the events leading up to his capture. The guided and unguided tours were informative, and the restaurant served delicious food. It's a great place to spend a morning or afternoon.

I had a mixed experience at the museum. On the positive side, the architecture was subtle and the overall atmosphere was good. However, I found the customer service to be lacking and the wait time for entry was longer than I expected.

The closure of the museum due to COVID-19 was disappointing. It's unfortunate that the government has not provided support to keep it running. I hope it can reopen soon and continue to educate visitors about the important history it represents.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the museum. The interactive tours provided a deep understanding of the historical significance of the site. The restaurant on-site served delicious food at reasonable prices. It's a great place to visit in the morning or afternoon.

While the museum itself was informative and well-preserved, I was disappointed by the lack of government intervention to keep it open during COVID-19. I was unable to visit despite the Google listing still showing it as open. Hopefully, this issue can be resolved soon.
