Maasbaai Slipway reviews
Not great when the wind blows, sand everywhere. There's no coverage, so you'll have to have proper UV umbrellas or UV Gazebo. Gazebo probably better when the wind blows as the wind might blow your umbrella into oblivion ???? …
Very rocky coastline with lots of round boulders, fascinating scenery, the tide was extremely low when I was there, the slipway may be more practical when the tide is higher. Short dirt road for access.
This is actually Maanskyn Bay. Absolutely pristine beach. Just take note that the wind may well be howling if you want to go there.

The boat ramp at Maasbaai Slipway is not very impressive. The wind makes it uncomfortable and there is a lot of sand everywhere. It would be better if there was some form of coverage like umbrellas or a gazebo. The access road is also not in great condition.
The boat ramp at Maasbaai Slipway has a beautiful rocky coastline with fascinating scenery. However, when I visited, the tide was extremely low and it would have been more practical to use the slipway at a higher tide. The access road is short but it is a dirt road.
Maanskyn Bay is a stunning beach with pristine sand. Just be aware that the wind can be very strong, so you may want to choose a calmer day to visit.
