A lovely peaceful place in nature for hiking or mountain biking on a farm. We wanted to do the 11km, but the gate was closed, so we had to turn back and just complete 5km. Pets are welcome. Bathroom facilities are clean and neat. Food at the coffee shop is delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, a great experience.
This place really surprised me! It is absolutely awesome here. The routes are well marked, and the basic route is easy and suitable for any fitness level. There are a few more adventurous routes you can take if you want to challenge yourself. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. We visited the farm for the first time this morning as we like to hike. We arrived at 7am and there were few cars in the parking lot. We went to pay at the coffee shop (R80 for both of us) and we started our walk. There is no need for a map as the routes are well marked. The trails are well maintained and offer a mix of easy and more challenging options. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the chance to be in nature. Overall, a great hiking experience.
