The Royal Ethiopian Restaurant is a hidden gem in Johannesburg. It has a great atmosphere and excellent service, and the food was really excellent. Coffee is freshly roasted and if you're lucky, you'll be privy to their coffee ceremony. Highly recommended and deserves support!

Our waiter was very friendly and took time to explain the menu. He advised us to try a platter with a variety of dishes. The food is delicious, with a combination of so many flavors. I particularly enjoyed the beef, but I thought that the injera could have been softer. Apart from that, it was a great experience.
