The Promenade reviews
It was a beautiful day and we spent it on the beach at Camps Bay. It wasn't as crowded as we expected...we actually got parking. It was a lovely sunny day...you can hire beach chairs and umbrellas. The guys walking around on the promenade are taking photos of the foreigners for a fee. The water was cold but refreshing.
The view is breathtaking. The ocean on one side the 12 Apostles behind... A total out of a movie scene... When u there Gelato Ice-cream is a total must... Accommodating your sweet tooth …
The promenade isn't what it used to be sadly. No more grass and although I understand the drought... It is sad and hoped that the municipality would maintain it with some effluent water or something. It is a great route for walkers and runners and tourists love this spot
