From the moment I contacted City View Birthing Retreat Midwife I knew this was the place for me. The ambition, the atmosphere, the setting of the retreats are all very unique and impressive. However it was Mariatha herself who sealed the deal for me. She was very friendly, flexible and most important for me, someone who is open to all kinds of mothers and all kinds of family.
The best midwife ever!! Mariatha guided me through my pregnancy, coming from a first time mom with numerous questions that I had. She allowed me to check in any time with her and promptly replied.
In my 30s, I made the decision to become a mother on my own, and went down the private route. I don't even know how I came across City View Birthing Retreat Midwife but I'm so glad I did. Not only is Mariatha incredibly fierce and good at what she does, but she genuinely cares for the women she looks after and their babies.
As first time parents we chose Mariatha because of the trust we have in her professionalism and her expertise. Mariatha gave us invaluable guidance throughout my pregnancy and her relaxed yet confident approach really served to put us at ease and boost both of our confidence in the lead up to our baby's birth.
I really enjoyed the whole programme that Mariatha has put together in the retreats, it made a difference for me and my partner. it made us see birth in a completely different light and one of love and empowerment. Never thought I would be thinking of my next birth but now I can say I am really looking forward to the next pregnancy/birth.
